PE-TM Chain Binding on DLT
Important: PE-TM Chain Binding is applicable only for DLT-based SMSs to Indian numbers.
As per the latest TRAI guidelines, all Principal Entities (PEs) are required to add their Telemarketer (TM) on DLT portal.
In case, TM is not approved on your DLT portal, your SMSs will be Rejected from 11th December 2024.
As you are MSG91s direct Client, you only have to add our Companies as Telemarketers and no one else since we directly submit your SMSs to Telecom Operators like Airtel, Jio, Vi, Tata and Videocon.
Note: For all types of messages — whether Transactional, Promotional, or OTP — PE–TM chain binding on DLT is mandatory.
What you have to do:
Login to your DLT portal
Go to PE-TM Chain section
Go to New Chain / New Request
Add our Companies "Walkover Web Solutions Pvt. Ltd" (TM Id- 1302157225275643280) and "Walkover Technologies Pvt. Ltd" (TM Id- 1702172430965597485) as Telemarketers.
Once accepted by MSG91, you will again get approval request on DLT portal for the final PE-TM Chain and you have to approve the same.
Once approved by you on DLT, ensure that against each of your Entity Id, there should be an Active Chain with TM Id as 1302157225275643280 on MSG91 portal as well. On MSG91, chain with TM Id- 1702172430965597485 is not required as of now.
After Step no 4, submitting the PE-TM chain request, please complete the required form using the link below to initiate the approval process:

Our team will review the request and proceed with the necessary approval. (Step 5)
You may check the approval status after one hour. Once it's updated, please ensure you approve it from your end on the DLT portal to complete the chain approval process.

Different status for PE-TM Chain on DLT:-
While checking the PE–TM Chain Binding page on the DLT portal, you may see the request status as Pending. The next steps depend on where the request is pending:
1. Status: Pending at TM
If the status shows “Pending at TM.”

➡️ This means the approval is required from our end.
In this case, please fill out the form that was shared with you earlier.
After submitting the form, kindly wait for 30–40 minutes for the approval to be completed from our end.
Once it is approved by us, you will need to log in to your DLT account and approve the request from your side as well to complete the process.
2. Status: Pending at PE
If the PE–TM chain page shows the status as “Pending at PE.”

Kindly log in to your DLT account and click on “Approve Request” to proceed.

Critical Notes:
If you have more SMS providers apart from MSG91, and on the DLT portal if you find another Telemarketer (TM) in the PE-TM Chain after your SMS provider, it indicates that your another SMS provider is not directly submitting your SMS to the Telecom Operators.
Instead, there are additional resellers involved in between which can result in Delivery Latency, Report Manipulations and a Risk of Compromising your Customers' Data.Telemarketer (TM) registration is not mandatory for sending SMS. Kindly ensure that you are proceeding with the PE-TM registration process and not attempting to register as a Telemarketer, as these are two separate and unrelated processes.
