1. Login to the MSG91 user panel and click on the wallet icon from the dashboard.

2. Enter the value in “Amount to be added in Wallet (in INR)”. You can look at pricing for each of the SMS types by entering your country from the dropdown here. Then click on “Proceed to Checkout”.

OR

1. Click on the Add funds option from the dropdown near your username on the MSG91 Dashboard or from the dropdown at the bottom of any selected service panel.

2. You will be directed to the same Add funds page from where you can purchase the credits.

How to add funds?

Step 1: Log in to your MSG91 account and click on the Add Funds option.

Step 2: Then click on the " Create new e-mandate " option.

Step 3: Enter the name of the E-mandate as per your requirement and save it.

Step 4: Once you click on the save option a pop-up will be generated where you need to add your bank details.

Step 5: Post-completion of the details you have filled in the bank you will receive the confirmation like this & the bank approval will take 24-48 hours for the approval.

Step 6: Post approval from the Bank, it will show like this:

Step 7: After this, you can set up auto-recharge based on the threshold amount for your wallet.

Step 8: To proceed, kindly click on the "Add funds" option and select the E-mandate, which has been approved by your bank, such as "Autopay". After that, you may customize the conditions based on your preferences. For instance, we have configured the condition to automatically add 1000 INR to your wallet when the balance falls below this threshold. Once done, kindly save the changes.

Step 9: Now go to the settings option and then go to " Billing " and then Wallet here you will be able to see the auto-recharge enabled like below.

CREDIT -

Credits are the number of sms you currently have in your account. When you send an SMS, your credits get deducted accordingly. Credit Deduction refers to the number of credits deducted from your balance for sending the message.

When you send an SMS in English the credit limit is 150-160 characters whereas in the Unicode option i.e. when you send SMS in other languages, the limit is 55-70 characters.

You will be able to see the credits consumed by your content on the top right corner of the Text box.

CREDIT CALCULATION

The value for a single credit in English is 160 characters. With the number of characters increasing, the second credit consists of 306 characters, and moving on in this manner the value of credit deduction increases by adding 153 characters in the SMS every time. As the number of characters keeps on increasing the number of credits deducted will also increase.

For English the credit calculation is as below:

160 Characters (Standard SMS) 1 SMS Credit

306 Characters 2 SMS Credit

459 Characters 3 SMS Credit

612 Characters 4 SMS Credit

765 Characters 5 SMS Credit

For Unicode the credit calculation is as below:

70 Characters (Standard SMS) 1 SMS Credit

134 Characters (Multi-part SMS) 2 SMS credit

(2 * 67 characters) 2 SMS Credits / Units-201 Characters (Multi-part SMS) 3 credits

(3 * 67 characters) 3 SMS Credits / Units-268 Characters (Multi-part SMS)

(4 * 67 characters) 4 SMS Credits / Units-335 Characters (Multi-part SMS)

(5 *67 characters) 5 SMS Credits / Units-402 Characters (Multi-part SMS)

(6 * 67 characters) 6 SMS Credits / Units-469 Characters (Multi-part SMS)

The charges of any message depend on the number of credits consumed, and the pricing per credit according to the country to which you are sending the message. You can see the price per credit on our pricing page.

Kindly note:

1. All the failed messages are charged.

2. Charges are applicable in case of a failure on the DND number from both promotional and transactional routes.

3. No charges are applicable on Blacklisted numbers.

For downloading the invoice, you can follow the below-given steps:

1. Open your MSG91 panel. Click on the dropdown beside your username at the top left and select the Transaction Logs option.

2. Here you can see the date of the Purchases. Click on the Invoice and Ledger option from the top right of the page.

3. Select the year from the dropdown for which you want to download the invoice.

4. A new tab will open where you can view the ledger powered by Giddh.

5. Click on the Arrow button to download the invoice.

Note: In case you don't find the download option, feel free to contact your account manager.

For payment through a Debit/Credit card, you will need to verify your email ID. Please follow the procedure for the same.

1. Go to 'Buy Credits'.

2. Click on 'Proceed'.

3. Enter all the details (credits you want to purchase).

4. Fill your Address and other personal details.

5. Click on 'verify your email ID' and you will receive a verification mail on your registered ID.

Choose 'Verify now on your email ID where you received the mail regarding verification and then you can make your payment through a Debit/Credit card.
