How To Send RCS Messages
Send RCS messages:
On the dashboard click on RCS.
On the left-hand side menu, click on “Send RCS” to access the section for sending messages via your approved templates.
Sending RCS Messages – Options Overview
When you click on “Send RCS”, a pop-up will appear showing you two options to send RCS messages:
Manually
Send a single RCS message by entering the recipient's number and selecting the desired template. Ideal for quick, one-on-one communication.CSV Upload
Bulk-send RCS messages by uploading a CSV file with multiple contacts and variables. Perfect for mass communication with personalized content.
1. Steps to Send RCS Message via CSV File
Go to "Send RCS"
Click on the "Send RCS" option from the left-hand side menu.Choose the "CSV" Option
In the pop-up, select "CSV" as your sending method.Download Sample CSV Format
Click on “Download Sample” to get the correct format for uploading. This ensures the file structure matches the template requirements.Fill in the CSV File
Add the recipient mobile numbers with Country Code.
Note: If the mobile numbers are entered without a country code, the message get failed (e.g., 91xxxxxxxxxx for India).
Enter variable values exactly as required by your selected template (e.g., name, date, order ID).
Upload the CSV File
Upload the filled CSV by clicking the “Choose File” or “Upload” button.Select the Project ID and Template
Choose the RCS project id and template you want to send.Preview & Review
Once uploaded, preview the mapped data.Click "Review & Send"
After verifying the details, click “Review & Send” to initiate the message sending process.
2. If you want to send the template message manually, click on the " Enter Manually" option.
-Enter all the mobile numbers you wish to send RCS.
Enter the mobile numbers with country code (e.g., 91xxxxxxxxxx for India).
-You can separate multiple numbers using commas.
-You can add up to 1,000 numbers in a single submission.
-Next, select the project id and the template which you want to send.
- Click "Review & Send"
Note: If the mobile numbers are entered without a country code, the message get failed. (e.g., 91xxxxxxxxxx for India).
