How to blacklist a number for voice services?

The Blacklist feature allows a company to block incoming and outgoing calls for specific phone numbers. Once a number is blacklisted, no call interaction is allowed between that number of all DID number of that company.

This feature helps in:

• Preventing spam or abusive calls

• Blocking fraud or suspicious numbers

• Enforcing company-level call restrictions
  

You can follow the below mention steps to block a number:-

1: Log in to MSG91 and Select “Voice” from the Dashboard.

2: Click on the “Blacklist” option from the left-hand side panel.

3: Top right side corner Click on Add Numbers

4: Either Enter manually or upload csv file in Upload File After that select Voice calls and Click on Add to Blacklist

Once the number is blocked, inbound and outbound call functionlity will not work for that number.

5: If you wish to remove the number from the blacklist, you can remove the same from the dashboard itself by click on unblock.
