Send Tally Invoices Instantly on WhatsApp without MSG91 Account.

Key Features

1. Send Vouchers via Whatsapp

With the Tally Prime Plugin integrated with MSG91, you can automate the process of sending Vouchers and invoices across 7 types of vouchers in Tally Prime.

The Vouchers will only be sent in case of new Voucher creation, not when the voucher is updated. If you want to send the updated Voucher you can resend the voucher, the step for the same have been mentioned in the last point of this document.

The seven different types of vouchers in Tally Prime on which this automation is applicable are as follows: 

  1. Credit note

  1. Debit Note

  2. Ledger Voucher

  3. Payment

  4. Purchase

  5. Receipt

  6. Sales

How it Works: There are two options

  1. If you have MSG91 account and then want to send the WhatsApp messages:

  2. If you do not have the MSG91 account and you want to send the WhatsApp messages, this is the document to guide you.

2. Resend Voucher or Invoice Manually via WhatsApp

Feature: Apart from automation, the Tally Prime Plugin also provides the option to Resend Voucher or Invoice Manually via WhatsApp

Prerequisites :

  1. You have your Tally account set up with all details.

  2. You will be getting 10 credits, In which you can send 10 voucher WhatsApp messages: Here is the document to recharge in case your credits exhausts: …

  3. The messages will only go in the case when there is the phone (WhatsApp) number of the party in the vouchers.

Steps to connect the Tally for WhatsApp:

Step 1. Click on this link:

Step 2. Click on the Login Button on the corner right. Enter your mobile number and fill up the OTP.

Step 3. Download and Transfer Files:

Move all four downloaded MSG91 files to Tally Prime's File location.

Step 4. Now go to the file location and Click on tally (application) as per the above image.

Step 5. Now open the Tally Gateway page.

Step 6. On top right corner, Click on F1 and click on TDLs & AddOns.

Step 7. Fill in the Configurations for TDL.

Step 8. Click on F4 - Manage Local TDL and select MSG91.Prime.tcp & Exit.

Step 9. Restart the Tally again.

Step 10. Again repeat the same process till Step 6, Select the F6 - Add on Features

Step 11. Write “Yes” in Enable Plugin and fill out all the other details.

Step 12. Once this is done, you just create the vouchers and the WhatsApp message with the Invoice PDF will be automatically sent to the party.

Sample for Sales Entry:

Create a Sales Entry and Enter Contact Details

  • Go to the Gateway of Tally.

  • Select Vouchers.

  • Enter Party A/c Name and Sales Ledger. Ensure that your Sales Ledger is checked as a Sundry Debtor.

  • Make sure when you created Sales Ledger you add the Contact Details, 

  • To do so, Press Ctrl+I to Open Other Details -> Contact Details

  • List all the items purchased and their pricing.

To Resend Voucher Manually

Go to the voucher that you want to resend, and from the side bar option to the right - select MSG91 Send Invoice.
