RCS Form Registration Guide



Before starting, please make sure you have spoken with the MSG91 team and finalized which RCS plan you want to use.

Step 1: Open the Registration Sheet

Step 2: Make Your Own Copy

  • Click on тАЬFileтАЭ and then select тАЬMake a CopyтАЭ

  • Save the file in your Google Drive

  • Rename the file with your company name

Note: You cannot edit the original file, so creating a copy is required.

Step 3: Fill All Details Carefully

  • Fill all the details in the sheet

  • Read the instructions written in each column before filling

  • Make sure all information is correct and complete

Documents

You need to share the following on email:

  • Agent Logo and Agent Banner Image
    (Make sure they are in the correct size and format as mentioned in the sheet)

  • Brand Color (Hex Code) тАУ this is required

  • Documents:

  • GST Certificate / PAN Card

Point of Contact (POC)

  • Provide the correct email ID of your POC

OPT-IN (Mandatory)

You must take user permission before sending RCS messages.

#

Where you can take opt-in:

  • Website contact or content page (for promotional messages)

  • Signup or login page (for both promotional and transactional messages)

  • Mobile app (while collecting user details)

What is required:

  • There must be a checkbox for user consent

  • A phone number field must be present

  • Add this consent line:

"I hereby authorize you to send notifications via SMS, Email, RCS, and other channels as per the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy."

Additional Details Required

Message Templates

  • Share sample messages for promotional and transactional use

Use Case

  • Explain what type of messages you will send

  • Example: offers, updates, alerts, OTP, etc.

Monthly Volume

  • Share how many messages you plan to send per month

  • Mention separately for promotional and transactional

#

Final Step

Once everything is completed:

  • Share the filled Google Sheet

  • Attach all images and documents

Send it to:

  • Your MSG91 point of contact or

Note: RCS has a 30-day retry window, so the message will remain in the queue for an extended period.
