RCS Opt-in Guidelines for Agent Approval

When applying for RCS agent approval (Transactional or Promotional), it’s mandatory to show where and how you collect customer consent (opt-in) for messaging. Below are the approval conditions:

Approval for Transactional + Promotional Agent

  1. Condition: Opt-in must be present on the homepage itself.

Example:

  • Login / Sign-up button on homepage.

  • “Enquire Now” or “Apply Now” forms are directly accessible from the homepage.

  • Pop-ups on the homepage that capture customer details and consent.

  1. Result: You qualify for both Transactional & Promotional agent approval.    

            

                               



Approval for Promotional Agent Only

  1. Condition: Opt-in is placed deeper inside the website (not homepage).
    Example:

  • Opt-in available only on Contact Us page.

  • Forms hidden under other sub-pages (not visible upfront).

  1. Result: You qualify for Promotional agent approval only.





Approval via Mobile App

  1. Condition: Opt-in should be visible during customer registration / sign-up flow inside the app.
    Example:

  • Consent checkbox on sign-up screen.

  • Screen that clearly shows the customer is opting in to receive messages.

  1. Action: Share a screenshot of the registration page with opt-in enabled.


                


Key Requirement for Approval

  • The URL (website) or Screenshot (app) showing customer opt-in must be submitted.

  • The opt-in should be explicit, visible, and verifiable.

  • A phone number field is mandatory in the page where customer contact details are collected.
