How to start WhatsApp Coexistence with MSG91

Conditions that needs to be fulfilled to start the WhatsApp Coexistence for your WhatsApp Business Number:

  1. The WhatsApp number should be on WhatsApp Business App, not on simple WhatsApp Application.

  2. There must be some activities (conversations with customers over that WhatsApp Business App - minimum of 30 days) related to the business in that WhatsApp Business Application to start/connect the WhatsApp Number for the WhatsApp Coexistence.

Step By Step Process to set up the WhatsApp Coexistence:

  1. Open your MSG91 panel- Go to WhatsApp - Click on “Add Number”

  2. Follow the ES process(Select the business portfolio- at the time of adding the setup - select the option: Connect your existing WhatsApp Business App

  1. Enter the number with the Country Code.

  1. After adding the number, when you click on next a window will open with a QR Code:

Now you have to use your WhatsApp Business App to do the further process:

  1. Open your WhatsApp Business App.

    Option 1: Look for message from Facebook Business Account and tap “Connect

    Option 2: -Click on the 3 dots on top right corner and select Settings or Menu

    -Select Account and select Business Platform.

    -Choose - Share the chat history.

    -Copy the access code from the screen and enter when prompted.

  2. Now again go back to the MSG91 panel and connect further..

Congratulations! now you are ready to start using the WhatsApp Business App and WhatsApp Business API together.
