Unsupported error for Co-existing WhatsApp Business Number.

If you have added your number with the whatsapp co-existing business number, and the messages are failing with the error Unsupported post request.

Error: Unsupported get request. object with id '932xxxxxxxx45417' does not exist, cannot be loaded due to missing permissions, or does not support this operation. Please read the graph api documentation at

This issue may occur due to the following reason:-

1. Removed Partner:

If you have removed the partner from meta, then we do not have access to the WABA then also this error also comes. Please log in to the META business account and navigate to -
Business Settings « WhatsApp Accounts « Partners « MSG91 should be added as a partner there.

2. Business Verification Not Complete:

Your business may not have completed Facebook Business Verification.

Or the phone number may not yet be connected to a verified WhatsApp Business account.

3. Permission Issues:

Your access token may not have permission to access the resource.

You might be using a user token instead of a system user or business token.

Missing roles (e.g., WhatsApp Manager) on the business account.

Now, in order to fix this issue, we need to follow the steps below:-

1. Log in to your WhatsApp Business App in your phone.
2. Open settings « Accounts « and remove the partner, if there is any MSG91/Haptik.
3. Once the partner is removed, you need to reonboard the same number in MSG91 with the co-existing feature.
