WhatsApp Catalog

Step 1: Once the catalogue has been connected, we need to add it to the WhatsApp Business account in the WhatsApp Manager section.

Go to Business.facebook.com >> Settings >> Whatsapp Accounts >> Whatsapp Manager >>Catalogue >> Connect.

After connecting it successfully to the WABA account, you can proceed with adding the catalog on the MSG91 panel.

On the MSG91 Dashboard click on WhatsApp.

Step 2: Navigate to the side panel and click on the numbers. Select the number that displays the catalog icon, then click on the catalog icon.

Step 3: Enter the Business ID details in the pop-up that will be showcased. Click on Proceed once the details are entered. The Business ID can be obtained from the URL Section of your business account.

Step 4: After clicking "Proceed," you will be redirected to Facebook login, where a list of business accounts will be showcased. Select the account from which you want to connect MSG91. Click on continue once the account is selected.

Step 5: Select the catalogue from the list you want MSG91 to access. Click on continue once the catalog is selected.

Step 6: Click on Save to review what MSG91 is requesting permission to do.

Step 7: A message will be displayed regarding the account that has been connected to MSG91. 

Click on Got it once it’s displayed.

How to create WhatsApp catalog on META

1. First you have to open Meta business account that is business.facebook.com than click on All Tools than commerce manager.

2. In assets you have to create a catalogue for that you have to click on (+) icon

3. Then click on continue to create new catalogs and if you want to use existing catalog then click on existing.

4. Here is the penal where you can create a catalog. where we have provide 2 option that is create catalog direct or on connect to partner platform.

5. If you want to connect to partner platform just turn on the toggle. Then select the partner name For ex. I select Shopify. After that click on continue.

6. Now choose your account if you have multiple account.

7. Then your Shopify store will open. Now from the left side click on products and then catalogs and select you products and you are able to create the catalog.

8. Another way to create New Catalog - Just select your business portfolio.

9. Click on skip button

10. If you want to give permission to any people kindly give from here. Than click on next.

11. Then select you have to give partial access or full control.

12. Now you can select that you want to connect the WhatsApp catalog from data feed or add manually.

14. Add the products and upload items.

Now you have added the Catalog with MSG91 - Now you can send the Catalog through WhatsApp Templates:

Create the Product template in the WhatsApp section of MSG91 :

Click on WhatsApp > Template > Select the Number >Create New Template:

Give the Name, Select the Marketing Category - Select the language.

Select Product in Marketing

-Template Format:

Catalog- When you want to send the whole catalog.

Multi- Product- When you want to send selected items from the catalog. You can send upto 30 items in one go. Ideal for sending the new collections and so.

Once this is done, save the template and submit for approval.

Extra parameters to be filled:

-The system will fetch the Catalog ID automatically which is connected with the WhatsApp Number.

-Select the products which you want to send in case you have selected the Multi product type of message.
